A commissioned operating system

KBS Jeju commissioned STAIx to deliver a working election information system. This was a commercial engagement with a live public result, not a concept demonstration.
The system connected district-level AI issue analysis, KBS Jeju article collection and classification, interactive map-based exploration, candidate and pledge information, and administration for editorial operation.

Editorial responsibility remained visible

AI supported recurring analysis and organization work. KBS Jeju retained the public-service mission and final editorial judgment. Operators could review classifications and manage which items were visible, keeping publication control with the newsroom.

One path from local context to public information

The public experience helped voters move between a district, its local issues, related KBS reporting, and election information. The product treated analysis, interface design, and newsroom operation as one delivery problem.

Publicly documented collaboration

KBS Jeju publicly described its collaboration with Cheju Halla University’s AI department, the district-level analysis process, operator review, and the interactive election reporting experience. The live service provides the operating result.

Delivery approach

The application used React and Vite for the interface, an Express service layer, Redis-backed operating data, and scheduled refresh workflows. The implementation also included administration for classification, visibility, and moderation tasks.
The private delivery repository is retained as project evidence. Public visitors are directed to KBS coverage and the live service rather than an inaccessible source repository.
